About the event
Resolution exists to support and celebrate UK emerging artists. Every year they welcome over 70 UK artists to create and perform work for one of the most exciting and established London performance festivals.
Ondule is a collaborative performance, reflecting on genderless movement and the animalistic essence of the body. The duo of choreographers brings together their multi-disciplinary dance background and Visual art practice to build a distinctive movements signature. Borrowing from Contemporary Dance, Popping, Voguing and Dancehall, the performance features two bodies that pulsate, undulate and progress in a liminal space.
Alejandro Martinez is the director and choreographer of AIM and has taught both nationally and internationally (Italy, Croatia, Spain, Portugal, Israel and L.A.). Laura Rouzet is a multi-disciplinary artist completing a Master at Laban Conservatoire. Her work combines sculpture, video, fashion design and dance.
